Does anyone know the best settings to use mine seems to hop skip all over.I have dropped the forks through the yokes 10mm which seems to help quicken the steering but still like riding on a plank.Help!

Settings will depend on your weight and what shocks/springs you have on. If you're on standard ones, I don't think they are that adjustable, are they?

Callaly there are lost of threads on suspension if you have a search, but the basic problem is that as standard the front is much too soft, and the back is much too hard!
put stiffer springs in the front and use 7.5 oil as a starting point. at the back set the standard spring on lowest preload, and add between 3 and 6mm spacer inder the top mount to lift the back end up and make it turn faster [same effect as dropping the forks, but there is a 3:1 ratio on teh spacer to ride height to take into consideration when you make changes at the rear].
until you fix the forks, it can get a bit tank slappy if you raise the back too much, so get that fixed as #1 priority.
