OK I'll admit it - it was all getting a bit heated, so I suggested to Firestorm Al (site admin) that he should take the 'porn' off the gallery.

We had a laff, but Eggshellblonde has a reasonable point. Some companies have software and staff to detect dodgy material and none of us want to get fired for downloading stuff from our favourite site.

Now can we all get back to arguing over bikes?

Hi everyone,
If I can respond to a conversation that was taking place last Monday(ish) about nodding or "my bikes better than yours" etc (with Steve Trow). Slight delay as I've been in Wales (in car - oh how I wanted to be on my bike!)

Steve T - It must be different where you are then because here in the mids I get nodded at by everyone (mind you I've often wondered if it's out of sympathy because I'm only on a GS!!! )
But generally everyone does - sportsbikes, cruisers, nakeds, tourers.

Interestingly, I have always noticed that cruisers (Harleys/XV1100 etc) tend to be more friendlier/noddy(!) than sportsbikes, even though I'm on a bike that more "sporty" than cruiser (usually - but obviously it depends on the day)

Not on the subject of bikes, I agree with your comments about people in Holland (and Bluesman's comments about people in Belgium + France) that they are friendlier - I think this is simply a reflection of society - NOT bikes. I don't want to get all political on you all but I think the people of the UK are prettty horrible to each other most of the time anyway compared to people of other nations. This is shown when you go abroad and see how nice people are or if you are lucky enough to meet a foreigner in the UK and see the difference in how they look at life (pulled a Lithuanian girl in a club ages ago and to this day she is still the nicest girl I've met - English girls suck! (so to speak))
Another example would be: Car drivers abroad hoot at each other all the time but it doesn't mean anything - nothing bad is intended - it's just part of the driving culture. But here, if someone hoots their horn at someone else, it means they are really p****d off because that's what people are like over here - they get too annoyed and angry too easily whereas Europeans are much more mellow. Don't get me wrong I'm not an EU lover - I hate the EU. I think Britain should be seperate, but my point is that people in the UK are not as relaxed as they used to be - and it's destroying the very fabric of British society. (I'm very political - sorry chaps :whatever )

Political lesson over with :?

On the contrary,
It was her that wanted a firestorm with plenty of punchy power and grunt, as well as lots of talk.

Yeah, thats my baby. She looks a little different now as I have replaced the back light and indicators with clear LED ones and the exhausts have been changed for high level ART cans with removable baffles. Also the screen is now a DB Iridium airblade. There are a few others like mine orange robbie has one and tintin as well.
