Quick question

Post by darkember »

Reading the info on the CCT sticky please correct me if I am wrong. When you mention about the altenator central allen bolt being hard to remove due to its soft properties. Can't it be left in altogether & TDC can be achieved by rotating the rear tire whilst in say 3rd gear with the plugs out ofcourse??

Yes it is possible to do as you describe. Make sure the plugs are removed.
But as Lloydie says get a new one

It's a lot quicker to tap it round with a punch than remove the plugs!
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
