Cheers Pinky and indeed your right!

Got that on watch Marty. Hoping to do a touch of sniping to hopefully prevent it getting sily prices. Thanks fella.

Looking for advice now.

Bike is almost ready to go. David Silvers sent me an RC45 throttle tube with a broken lug. Kudos to them though for being completely above board and promising to send me a a replacement, they had to order one in but it should be on its way. Didnt even want me to send the broken one back. Kudos indeed Silvers!

Anyways, Carbon clutch cover is on - Cheers Wicky - Clip on replaced - Cheers BigSpanishMarty. The scratches are all rubbed down to 1200 wet & dry. Now, I want to know the best way of getting the paint in evenly. If I mask up closely surely its gonna show lines where the tape was?

Is their a way of getting these areas touched up easily?

Cheers.

just blow the whole area over bud, dont bother masking it, then mop it in with 600 w&d then mop with tcut.
i tried patching mine like that and it was a waste of time, just resprayed it in the end and its quicker and a better job.
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

i agree with Benny there mate, if it was one patch then a localised repair is ok but you have a few so buy a colour matched rattle can an do the whole panel. flat the rest of the panel with a green scotchbrite (scourer pad thing) then a couple of coats of grey or white primer (doesn't matter on silver) a guide coat of a dark colour and 1200 w/d to flat that out back to primer (this shows any imperfections) then a few coats of paint then laquer.
