Remove wing mirror plastic scratches

Post by vtryorks »

I've got some deep scuff marks on the wing mirror plastics. I'm not sure how to deal with them. Is it OK to wet n dry it with fine grade paper. If I do that though, it will remove the shine?

Whats the best way to do it and leave a nice shiny finish?

Can anyone help?

Thanks

paint.

colour coded mirrors would look nice imo.

it's hard to get a good polished finish on the mirors though due to the material theyre made of.
you could always replace them if they are annoying you?
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

I got some black in a flash which shined them up great but of course didnt remove the scratches.

I think you're right, sand out all the scratches and spray em :D

Cheers Benny.
