Front fork sag settings?

Post by nora2004 »

Just a quick one for those with Rogered forks, when setting the sag did you set it off the bike or did you set it with you sat on the bike?

Ive always set it with no rider on the bike but just been reading something from Racetechs site and they mentioned the rider sitting on the bike, have I been doing this wrong all this time? lol

Also out of curiosity what settings do you run on the front of yours?

Roger says set with out rider, I would have to look up his recommendations but from memory it was about 30mm. I set mine a bit less than that

Thank god for that! Thought I was gonna look like a right clown there! lol

He reckons between 26-30mm on the front! Had to set mine again today, spent an hour faffing about with it, its now set to 28mm, which should be better than the 23mm it was set at today when I was out! lol

How many rings do you have showing on yours?

I have swapped to progressive springs, as I wanted it stiffer than Roger set them, and even one I am back in to 2 rings from fully in
