jumping out of gear

Hi there guys and girls my brother has a honda fireblade 08 which he bought a couple of weeks ago and is jumping out of 6th gear does any 1 know what it could be as he is well pissed of he took out a 5 grand loan 4 it .I know its not a vtr like mine but i said i would ask .thanks

Was it a private sale or from a dealership?? If its from a dealer get it back there fast & tell them to sort it or return his money.

Sounds like a gear selector issue, but generally that is a problem in the lower gears which take more punishment.

May be worth joining the fire blade forum to ask whose boys if it is a common issue and if there is an easy fix.

As said above, I would also take it up with the seller, as a gearbox strip down could be costly and this should have been mentioned in the sale

08 blade is a cartridge box is it not??? im pretty sure it is and is a dead easy fix.

i get this on my storm, probably due to the fact that i only use the clutch for taking off!
