I just got a Draper wrench. Settings from 10 to 150. 1/2 inch drive plus a set of sockets from 12 to 34mm.

The manual suggests that this range of settings will do just about all the nuts and bolts on the 'Storm.

£30 for the wrench and £20 for the sockets from a local hardware store. Quality looks good and I have had no problems so far.

Hope this helps.

Nick.

Halfords for the sockets - individual so you don't get ones you don't need!

Torque wrench - full setting range ALDI, LIDL etc 9.99 and its the dogs reproductives

Cheap torque wrenches are cheap for a reason ;)

For motorcycle use, I use a 3/8 drive with a 15 - 80ft-lb range. Made by Teng tools, iirc. Can't remember how much it was, I've had it for years. TBH it doesn't get much use, I tighten most bolts by feel, and use the torque wrench for engine work (cylinder head bolts etc).

Mind you, there's an awful lot of broken bolts, stripped threads and lost fasteners that have taught me how tight a fastener needs to be :)

I second that mate, the Aldi stuff is usually first rate.
Had lots of stuff (grinder, belt sander, socket set) and it really is good stuff

I'd go for a safer version of that method

Tighten the wheel by hand and if it falls off/out then tighten a bit more.
If you tighten a bit more each time until you stop falling off you're guarenteed to get it right eventually..simple really

added bonus being you'll keep dealers in business for spare parts
