Re: CCT's Noob question
Can you post a picture of yours?
Send a pic of back one, it is the thing that sticks out on the right hand side of your engine just next to your shock, on the brake pedal side.
Basically if it looks like a solid metal unit, it is probably a standard one, if it looks like a big long bolt it will be a manual

Look at the 17th thread down in the workshop area called CCT's started by Griff1977. There u will see what a manual & OEM one looks like. The manual one is on the left

Re: CCT's Noob question
Thanks for the replies guys. I obviously have the normal Honda ones. The guy I purchased the storm off said they had just been changed, so I take it he just replaced the old with new Honda parts.
Must get round to doing the manual cct's at some point.

Re: CCT's Noob question
Its funny how when you buy a bike, it has always just had something major done. Personally, I never believe people when I buy a bike and they tell me it has just been serviced, or just had its valve clearances done, or CCTs just replaced.
I would always want to at least check to be sure

Re: CCT's Noob question
Having had the front and rear cct go thought I would let u know what they sound like when they start to go. The front sounds like a playing card stuck in a bicycle wheel and go,s around 3000 rpm . The rear is more of a metallic sound

Re: CCT's Noob question
So who does them and at what price?
cheers
