SP1 Fairings

Post by Miztaziggy »

Was talking to Benny the other night and he said that the SP1/2 fairings go straight on the firestorm...which got me thinking I would much rather get a set of these and do that than repair mine.

The only thing is, the back fairing, and headlight, and im wondering if anyone with an SP1/2 can confirm how their light unit is held on to the fairing? Is it screwed onto the back of the fairing the same as the firestorm, or is it fixed on a brakcet?

I dont suppose anyone has any pictures of their SP1/2 in bits do they showing fairing mounting points on front and rear?

How about the seat unit, does the front seat bolt onto the fairing on into the subframe, or is it on a separate key lock?

there are a few threads on the USA superhawk forum where owners have fitted SP aftermarket race fairing. not sure it was a straift fit, and needs to be tweeked to make it line up well with the Firestorm frame angles.

Looks like a fair bit of work, and that was just the fairing, the rest of th body work could be even more complicated
