possibles.... water in the wiring loom, dodgy starter solenoid, decayed insulation around the starter + terminal, decayed battery leads (+ lead)
nackered r/r

check these & post back
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

cheers benny , yup all looking ok , i have two soldered and insulated green wires that seemed to have gotten hot and possibly shorted ,

electrics electronics particularly are not my forte ,
and this is the modified one with the spliced in aftermarket cdi :eek2 :eek2

so,,, i seached about , re routed anything that looked like it could be neater , re insulated the suspects and gave them more space ,

i couldent find anything else , the bike is only used in the dry  all earths fine , no rust , connections good , solenoid checks out too (i think it will far outlast the starter clutch 8O man thats some wombles noise when that slams into itself :wtf: :eek2

ill bring it for a spin and see what happens ,

thanks for reply
