All-in one tail light
All-in one tail light
I've just bought an all-in one tail light from e-bay, the problem is i'm bit of a numpty when it comes to electrics and the unit does not come with any fitting instructions. It's an L.E.D unit and it came with the little block thingy's that make the indicaters flash proprerly. According to the advert there is no need to cut any wire's. Have any of you wise heads ever fitted one of these ? ( i've tried contacting the seller, but no joy !)

Re: All-in one tail light
they're hard to kill if you mis-wire it, so just try connecting wires.
Earth and stop and tail will usually be in a group of three, and the two indicators are just single wires.
This means that you will probably have five wires going in,
one earth,
one stop live,
one tail live,
one left indicator live left,
one indicator live right.
Left and right are usually the brightest colours,
earth is often but not always black.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: All-in one tail light
normally come with a socket to fit in bulb holder and then 2 wires for indicators, don't bother with resistors get a proper relay.
