Ok - so other than VTR Yorks, who hasnt replied yet, we are on for meeting in Otley just before the bridge at 9.00am ok?

By the way, if it is pouring with rain in the morning ill probably not be coming, so will txt you all if that is the case...hopefully not though

Ill meet Budd at Jordan's and Yorks will either meet us at Jordan's or meet Flatline near Wetherby and go from there.

Hehe...cant wait...just got a pair of Racetec tyres fitted this afternoon and dying to try them out now :D :D

I've just dropped you a PM with my mobile no, if you have problem drop me a txt, also if it's raining I'll not be coming, it's no pleasure riding in the rain, I don't know what Racetecs are like in the rain but I don't think my Pirelis would be much cop at moving standing water, anyway I've no intention of finding out, so it's raining more a light drizzle and looks set to stay then I'll be dropping out.
but hopefully it will be dry
I've now gone all European and bought a KTM Superduke GT and Aprilia RSV1000R :D ,

I'll go the Jordan Bikes route. Are we on for 8:15 at Jordans then as per budd's suggestion?

If its raining, I will also be staying at home. Fingers crossed for good weather. Sorry its taken me a bit to reply, had a busy day.

Well...im definitely on now :D

Just this second finished putting it back together...didnt think I would get done in time earlier on.

Got home at 5 with both wheels in the car, plus the tank, back fairing, under tray and new brake discs.

Swapped the brake discs on front wheel
Fitted front wheel
Fitted back wheel
Fitted tank
Went for a drive to find that the head bearing I replaced mid week was too loose
So dropped the forks, lifted the yolk, tightened the bearing, put it back together, tested
Still too loose, repeat above and tightened again, tested and ok this time.
Jacked it up, put the yolk back on, pulled the forks down and tightened up the forks
Fitted lock to under tray, fitted number plate to under tray, indicators to that, then fitted the undertray
Fitted back fairing and seat
It was dark by this point, so I couldnt see very well with a garage light, but fitted front top fairing and somehow managed to connect up the lights and indicators without being able to see a thing!!
Fitted bottom fairing
And voila!! All done and ready to go after a very busy night :D :D

sounds like you've been busy, what is it about deciding to do stuff the day before a planned event, i thought it would be a good idea to have a look at the TPS, and managed to extend the adjustment slots the WRONG way, all sorted now with a reading of 438 ohms, so I thought I'd take it eound the block to check it was OK and what happens? after 800m or so it splutters to a stop, I'd forgotten to turn the petrol back on DOH!!! fortunately it's all down hill home so i coasted back and turned on the gas, so now it's all ready for a run out tomorrow, see you at 8.15 :D

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Sorry mate only just seen this. By 12.30 we were in Hawes and just leaving heading for Ripon and then home. We were almost home for half 1 / 2 ish.

Weather wasnt good on way up to hawes and roads were wet which is annoying as it really slows you down. Dried up a little bit after that over to Ripon and was a good ride.

Nice to meet you guys and put some faces to names. Will definitely need to arrange another ride out for next week or the week after. Im thinking Peak district again and see if Benny/AMCQ/Steve etc want to come?

Anyway...my vinyls have arrived....so off to clean the bike and get that done now :D :D :D

to right, :beer:the kids are now tucked up in bed so I can relax in a hot bath with a cold beer, my leg is quite sore now so it will be nice to soothe the aches away, and Martin don't worry about slowing anyone down it's not a race, I think everyone was quite happy pulling up at the odd junction to let the group reform, you should ride in your comfort zone that's what I do there's no point taking unecessary risks, it's no fun picking the bike out of an hedge bottom.
anyway it was great to meet everyone and I enjoyed the ride despite the inclement weather early on, and Phil thanks for the hospitality
