Vinyls now done

Post by Miztaziggy »

I was surprised at how easy they were to apply in the end. Probably only took about 40 minutes to do the whole lot. Ordered a set from http://www.awesomegraphics.co.uk in the end

http://www.awesomegraphics.co.uk/epages ... B1%5D-0001

Got a mix of black, silver chrome and red chrome for £20 + vat which I thought was reasonable.

I cant decide if im happy or not though. The black Honda wing on the tank looks good, as does the VTR and Racing on the back, but im not sure I like the chrome Firestorm on the front and the black HONDA on the bottom front. I think the HONDA looks too plain and like it needs something else.

I was thinking that the HONDA at the bottom needed another one of those red Racing ones to go underneath, but I dont know what to do with the Firestorm one, maybe try a black one?

I think it looks good too. Not over the top in any way I like the metallic red on yellow, it works.

I agree, it looks great. I would leave it alone, sometimes less is more.

looks the biz m8 but i think you fluffed the wing on the tank lol :biggrin
i did same with mine and it did my head in so i had to order another pair!
its sposed to be inline with the firestorm logo, on an angle on the tank...
youve followed the same contour as i did...
stand back & look at it from a distance & you'll see what i mean!

sort of like this - the HONDA text goes along the flat contour where the red line is

i got some slightly larger wings - proper honda 115mm ones instead of the 90mm from awesomeappleby - they are a lot better quality & only £3 a pair.
these ones - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-WINGS-1 ... 4698wt_882
