Maybe not quite so doable- the swing arm is very flimsy, the wrap-round rad touches the pipes, and the rear shock mount would have to be mounted outboard of the rear head to the LH side, and would stick into your leg.
Tank looks even tinier than usual....
Can't see an oil cooler, which it would need unless in a very low state of tune.
Using the engine as a stressed part of the frame to take shock forces and transfer them to the steering head would need a beefier frame, and of course with no rear reflector extending rearwards of the trailing edge of the rear tyre, the bike couldn't get an MOT.

But go for it!

I hadn't thought about the rear reflector. I don't think I'll bother now......

I'll lend you one on a stick, you can gaffer taper it to the shock.

Nope, 'cause in seven years it'll be banned, and you'll have to buy the latest Honda off the shelf.

"To get my bike off me they'll have to prise it from my cold, wet, frozen fingers", or summat like that.

Actually, I probably won't be able to put up much of a fight after an hour in sub-zero temps...... :sad2

Your generosity knows no bounds. Having thought about it I feel it would be wrong to spoil a lovely blue VTR and think it would probably be better for all concerned if a nasty yellow one was used!!!

I dont know about wrong, but it would be difficult to spoil it more than Honda already did with they smacked it with the ugly brush :Ball Kick: :D

however putting aside colour blindness for a moment, has anyone tried those classic HRC colours on a Firestorm, I think it would look good.........Marty have you not found one on your search yet?
