Micron beta race cans

Post by eddievtr »

Anyone here using these, or used them in the past? How are they for sound (don't mind a bit bit extra noise, but don't wanna deafen anyone) performance, jetting etc? I may be able to get a pair on the cheap, but don't know if it's worth it
Ohlins shock, Goodridge lines, 6-pot calipers, carbon fibre hugger.....and all at someone else's expense!!

Hi Eddie.
I've got carbon fibre microns on me 'storm. Don't know if they are "Beta's" They are race cans rather than road legal. Yes they are loud but thats the point aint it?
I've had them on me bike for about 18 months and have yet to be pulled for them.
If you keep your revs down near Plod, you can get away with it.
Either that or the coppers here are deaf!
I would definitely recommend them at the right price. Good and loud and decent build quality etc.

Oops.
Forgot to say that performance wise, it pulls much better in the midrange/top end than with standard cans and my bike has not been re-jetted, and has the standard filter on it.
