I feel more comfortable on the bmw than the bandit but I think that's just because I am much more confident on it and the beemer is a lot lighter. I just need to save and get another storm as you only need sneeze on a storm it launches and now I have much better control and can catch it on the rear brake I am less likely to flip it again. I have grown to love my bike even more after yesterday though

I'm at a difficult stage at the moment. Changing into 2nd whilst the bike is hoisted takes your attention away from the all important rear brake covering duties. This is fine when you have a switch on the back doing that for you but take it away and its bloody scary.

Imagine juggling three balls and getting to a good standard - That's where I am with my launches and 1st gear wheelies. Now imagine adding a 4th ball which is a grenade and if you drop it it will hurt. Thats me that is!! lol

Nice one Geo, I am not allowed to take the Gixxer to the school as it has to have a standard can (rules is rules) I also dont clutch up with the Suzy as on the power in first is sooooo easy its a waste of time. The VFR will also come up nicely off the power but I still havent nailed the changing gera :( nice piccies mate.

Thanks mate :) I know what you mean. A standard storm comes up really easy on the slightest of clutch. I wheelied my mates VFR off the clutch and that came up real quick.

Slow (5-10mph) launch to balance point and changing gear is what I want to master. I will have it nailed by the summer (don't practice as much as I could)
