Choke knob not playin the game.....

Post by vtrjock »

Yon choke knob won't stay out, is there a rubber grommet inside that needs replacing? :?:

Just hold the rubber end piece that is on the part of the choke knob fixed to the bike and screw it clockways. It should then increase the friction on the shaft on the knob and allow it to stay out.

I spit my knob ring when I twisted it too hard... so watch what your doing, if your grip is too strong; get the wife to do it for you. :D

Is that an euphemism?

I'll add to it. My knob often losens itself and wont stay out. Agreed with the advice posted above. That little lug bolt thingy can be tightened.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.
