As it was going to be a nice day today (Saturday), and I woke up early, I decided that an early morning run out towards mid Wales was a great idea, and if I left vat 7.30, I could be Home by lunch and still get some family time.
wombles me, despite layering up and wearing my goretex lined 365 A-Star gloves, after 60 miles I couldn't feel my fingers and had to spend 20 mins holding a teapot at a little chef to revive them. By the time I got to Crossgates for breakfast, the sun was out, but it was still cold....thankfully the roads were worth it, but fingers are still throbbing now.....

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
Re: Bloody cold hands!
I did 200 miles around the heart of Yorkshire mid to late afternoon on Saturday, had my base layers under my leathers and normal gloves and was toasty the whole trip, started to get chilly at around 5 but never had to resort to my heated grips or anything. Thoroughly enjoyed the ride apart from some parts of the county being the Gatso capital of England.Hopefully this winter won't be as bad as the last one and can have some nice crispy cool rideouts on my beautiful Storm.

It's never nice when your hands get that cold. You end up struggling to pull in the clutch your fingers go that numb.
Are those winter gloves you have then? Try a pair of those waterproof mits over the top as they stop any wind and really help to keep the heat in.

Get some heated grips fitted you guys, The worst that can happen is that you're called Gays

Theres A Hare in The Turnips.
Re: Bloody cold hands!
i have ixs thermal inners in my gloves...toasty warn, windproof and surprisingly thin
Re: Bloody cold hands!
heated grips, every first mod i make, you can ware proper gloves all year round no fumbling around after switches or restricted hand movement, struggling to pay for fuel!!!!!!!!
and you can get a perfectly good set for £35..

Re: Bloody cold hands!
I think I am going to fit heated grips for all the reason above..........I cant get on with thick gloves, it feels like I have less control.

Intermittent claudication! Discovered I had it and it was a warning that wasn't properly recognised before I had a heart attack.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
