Brakes

Post by tomvale46 »

Is is just mine of could the front brakes be better? the Rear brake actually works! first for a bike of mine! ha ha! but the front just seems a bit soft, once the winter sets in im having my wheels off to get them powdercoated gold, (they have been hand painted just look a bit crap) so will service the calipers and fit new pads, any reccomendations for pads??
Old enough to know better , young enough to not give a damn f**k !!!

RIP MS58! total legend!

full caliper clean then add EBC HH pads are a good start as are steel hoses. but I never got mine as good as I wanted so I swapped the calipers and mater cyl to teh parts of the CBR600 F4 [before radial brakes]

look in workshop for a full thread on the subject...

Hello
Apart from braids my brakes are 100% Honda and are two fingers stunning. But until I got my forks sorted I didn't think so.The pistons must be spotless.
