Perfect Dual Sport bike, they were great green laners and still have enough for the road. Just the lack of an e start, so you will need to learn the art of hot starting a thumper.

Looks to have been well cared for, and there are still bits out there for them, so look like you are sorted

What age is it?

Yeah thanks :)

Its a 1993 DR350S with 6k on it from the rebuild. It has the 385 big bore kit on it.

It was sat in bits for 10 years and was finished being built about 3 years ago.

So far our relationship is developing and once I get some sturdy mx boots and armour, I think we will move onto second base.

Nice bike, I had one for a short while but it was a bad purchase, it was knackered...

I'm hoping to buy a similar Green laner soon....

that type of bike is great fun, my last bike was an xt 600e i really liked it but it didnt go quick enough on the straight bits.

i am currently pursuing an unknown bloke who lives in a flat in felixstowe who owns an unused xt350( i think ) that is chained to post, in the car park of these flats. it never moves and an old boy who lives in the same flats reckons he only wants £50 for it!!. even if it dosent go i must be able to break it up and get my money back for bits i guess. just cant get any response from him

i will most def be keeping the storm though

I like the idea of a traily winter bike - had an MTX200 for years, kept falling apart yet kept going and was a hootin tootin urban stroker :D

...learn the art of hot starting a thumper
Err...yeah. That started today. Just got back from a 20 mile ride and realised when I got inside I needed to go to the cash point. Jumped back on the bike and it was a bitch to start. Anyways, I get to the cash point and got some cash. Tried to start it, omg it was a nightmare. Especially as the cash point is outside a tesco express, Chinese takeaway and laundrette. Doh!

Nice one George on the new bike  My brother had the 250 version. That also was a right PITA to start when it was hot. it was still a great bike for dual purpose riding all the same 8) I'll see if I can find a photo of it.

Enjoy
