I have this mod on my moriwaki engine, needed to get more air in quickly but I'm not sure if it's a good mod for a standard engine.

I hope he oiled that filter before he ran his bike

Del, while f**king around with my carb setup after fitting the jet kit the snorkel is really becoming a pain when fitting and removing the airbox, can i pull the bloody thing off without mucking up the setup ?

I don't think it really does much but when fitting the lid hold the filter in the lid with your hands and just ram if forwards. The same to get it off lift slightly (lid and filter together) pull backwards. I would just leave it on, tilt it slightly too.
