Battery conditioners............

Post by essexbloke »

I've just been promised (by the wife) that she'll buy me 2 new battery chargers/conditioners for xmas, so i can keep both me bikes topped up perminantly.....

Been looking at the original optimates, but can anyone reccomend any other makes that are as good or better???

I want to be able to plug both bikes in, so need to be easy to use, quick to get off, (dont wanna get the spanners out evertime i take a bike out), and good enough to keep 2 bikes topped up all the time...

Also looking someone/supplier that is doing a pair for a good price. Best i've found so far is approx £80 for 2

Cheers....

I know your looking for something else other than the optimate one but my optimate came with a little lead to attach to the battery with a plug on the other end. I poked the lead through to the underside of the seat subframe, clipped it in place with a cable tie and now I don't have to bother taking the seat off to charge the battery.
Very handy little extra and it also has a rubber boot to keep the wet out.

Optimate, optimate.

Ian I think they are the best, never had a problem with them ever.

I will fit the lead when i do ya next service if you want. In the past I have always stuck you battery on one of me optimates when I've been doing your services etc.

Del (still ain't had any time to do anything on you know what, still waiting for the bearing too, will chase em again)
