afaik harris didnt make rearsets for the firestorm, but the early fireblade ones fit.
ive got a harris fireblade set in blck on my storm & theyre top quality.
apart from the footpegs are very fragile and are designed to snap off in an off to save the rearset and frame.
have a look at a site called racealternatives for rearsets and spares, ie footpegs, linkages etc.
They did....

yeh theyre the same ones ive got only mine are in black...
only found out they were actually meant for the blade when i rang harris up for a replacement footpeg & some heel guards to suit.
mine were £100 btw

Good luck to claireblade though. If they keep going at this rate the bidders would be better off looking at the Coerce or the Gilles ones.
Amazing how much attention something for what is essentially an old bike can bring. If we're not careful the VTR will turn into the next CB400/4 with parts going for stupid cash. Have you seen Practical Sportbikes this month, original exhaust made £1400.

As more and more people are buying the storm the good parts will get silly prices
Just look at all the new members we've had on here in the last month
. The word is getting around and soon I will be able to sell mine for £10000 as there will be a demand for them lol

the coerce ones on american e-bay are £275 shipped, if you can avoid import duty/VAT... i think the harris ones are better looking.

I agree but at what price. When do the aesthetics become secondary to the cost? I live fairly near to Harris I think I will see if they can still get them. To be honest the staff aren't the most approachable but worth a shot.

no m8 the guy i got them off bought them for his fireblade and later fitted them to his firestorm, straight on with no messin about.
so he said anyway, and when i spoke to harris they confirmed they were fireblade rearsets and said they had never made them for the firestorm.
if i cba i'll have a look at the number stamped on them when i take them off.
they got to come off anyway to get the s/a off for powder coating shortly :)

Cheers Benny. The ones on E Bay at the moment certainly look they were intended for the Storm with the SA mounts.
