headlight bulb question?
I have just fitted a 130/90 headlight bulb....by f**l its bright..cars just move over out of the way...but there maybe a downside as.. a guy at work tells me this is to high amps.. and will burn out my plug or drain the battery or may melt the inside of the headlight, basically is the guy talking rot or should i be worried...so has anyone fitted this size of bulb met with any of these type of probs? or any technical type dudes input (del)would be helpfull..

On high beam your pulling 10.8 amps. Check the manual, see if it tells you what the alternator can supply and what the plugs can handle. If you take a look in an electrical catalogue they normally have a list saying what gauge wire will handle what current.I have just fitted a 130/90 headlight bulb

I cooked the pigtail for the headlight on my CBR600 with one of the 80/100's while running around with the brights on. Once I replaced the pigtail, everything worked fine.
You know the Austin Powers movies? I have always wanted to date someone like Allota Fagina... but I always seem to date her sister Sandy.
