"My air pressure was dead on"

It got worse

"I run my tires at 33 front 36 rear" digging around Recommended tire pressures for FZ6 = 36F/42R

MMMmmmm "The tires have JUST UNDER 10,000 miles" add 100+ degree temps and under inflated tires

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Wished I'd read on a bit now! as I plagiarised this from the Blackbird forum  Yep he knew a lot about Feck all, and like you say he was running a fair bit under pressure in those temperatures and the inevitable happened! Oh and if they have done 10,000 miles..... I'm the Fashion editor for Vogue!!!! :biggrin

they must ride like real pussies if they can get 10 - 16000 miles out of a rear tyre lol....
thats ridiculous. it probably fell apart with age,

i have heard stories of other 2 & 3 compound tyres delaminating at speed though.
& the power ones im using atm have a habit of weaving a little at very high speed due to the sidewall changing shape and altering the profile of the tyre.
this only happens at 130+ like, not just myself that noticed it.... also reported from racer paul 'moz' owen recently. (but they do stick like sh1t to a duvet)
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
