Braced firestorm swingarm

Post by seb421 »

Does it give much more feel on the storm?

just for the bling factor or?

Also does any one know the lightest standard rear wheel that is a direct swap for a storm swing arm?

remember seeing blade wheel stats some where a year or so back but think it may have been on another forum

youll need to change the rear caliper & bracket, or machine the stay for it and fit a blade hugger as well... toying with changing the s/a on mine cos i hate the standard clothes prop effort.

lightest wheels would no doubt be a set of marchesinis if you have lots of £££ :D

Stick" to brace or not to brace" into the search facility Seb. I did mine for the look more than anything.

Same here.
Not difficult, and I certainly didn't notice any feeling improvement in handling terms.

Might be a difference on a track day, possibly.

Or I might just have a not-very-sensitive butt.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
