Thanks Tony.
I made my decision after reading about the Yam mosfet rectifier.
From what i could make out, all rectifiers have a limited life.
The mosfet is far superior. Trouble is hacking into the loom, never a great idea.
Next cct's!!!

Just bought myself an R/R from a 2008 R6 (SH678).
The unit was intended for six wires, not the 5 of the Firestorm. Can I still use it or did I screw up?
If I can use it, which terminal do I leave empty?

Just have a look in the workshop knowledgebase and all will become clear.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
