Dan Moto

Post by seb421 »

Any one got pictures of some Dan Moto exhausts installed on a storm?

How loud are they?

I've been thinking about these since they first came on ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GP-Exhaust-Ho ... 5640b04118

Thinking if they angle up enough might look good when I've got the Repsol fairings on

I can see where you are coming from mate, but I reckon they will be too long (and one too many) to give a Moto GP look. But they are different and may look sweet on the bike.

Well they are 450mm long so the same as a standard slip on.

Should look ok.

Bike or performance bikes did a review of the dan moto pipes some time ago and I seem to remember they didn't think they were that good of a build quality.

That said I haven't tried or seen them myself but the prices are quite tempting.

i read the article on the dan moto cans and they are very light and very loud, there were question marks about the quality also, but the results were up there with akras believe it or not. i would like to see what they look like on a storm. beware tho, even with dan moto db killers they are supposed to be extremely loud, have a listern to some on youtube, if you like loud pipes you will love them............

I wouldn't put any money on that Marty. I had my round Art cans on (Which aint quiet) when the blind and deaf woman knocked me off mine last summer.

I quite like the look of those pipes, but they're much too long.
they need to finish just under the rider's heel to look like GP stylee.

God knows what that would do to fuelling.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Either you have mounted the cans in the wrong place or you have a very strange seating position!! :D

May I reccomend sitting on the nice soft seat instead!

Looking around at other pipes it looks like they have based it on the Yoshimura GP EVO III series
