Rear brake and indicator cluster. Legal?
Re: Rear brake and indicator cluster. Legal?
Dunno about legal, but looks real easy to snap off, poking out past the tail like that.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

should be legal as long as theres a numberplate light, don't think it would suit a storm tho........

Re: Rear brake and indicator cluster. Legal?
aside from the fact that it looks shite, i doubt it would be legal here....
1. you cant show white light to the rear....
2. there has to be separation between the lights, ie brake light/ tail light stay on when indicating a turn...
it seems some testers just dont like them, even if it complies with the rules above

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

I have the combined brake/rear/indicator tail light fitted, at MOT time I disconnect the indy's and just use the other rear pair on the tail tidy, which pass without probs.
If I could get round to it, I'd just wire in a little two-pole switch to save messing about.
