clutch cover repair??

clutch cover repair??

Has any one manages to weld up the clutch cover and respray :thumbdown: :thumbup: if so how much ?

should be easy enoug to repair as its only ally....
the only mgnesium casing is the sprocket cover iirc
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Thanks lads for your reply .i will go and buy some chemical metal and take it from there . :thumbup:

where is the best place to got the honda gray paint for the clutch cover ?Honda ? or can i get it on the highst? :thumbup:

Masterdave from Ipswich had a similarly damaged clutch cover fixed at a dealership and they used matching paint on the repair - He was tasked with finding out what paint they'd used for future reference for the forum.

Chemical metal held on mine for over a year before I decided to get a new cover from one of the forum members.

I also used it to fix the back of my washing machine when the arm that spins the drum broke and gouged a hole in the back.


The repair is still going strong 2 years later and is still watertight.

Great stuff and a must for every tool kit. Best of all it costs under a fiver.
