Washed and polished then removed all the plastics. Resprayed the fairing mount at the front. Then fitted Hel lines all round brakes and clutch. Stuck the race lines on the front carbon look with black ends on. Looking good just need to put it all back together now, MOT will be shortly.
Bring on the summer

well as i had no work today and the roads were dry i went for a quick 20 mile run out, first go for about 3 weeks. it emphasised how worthwhile the trickle charge battery thing is . started on the first prod and ran nice and sweet. not ideal biking conditions as the roads were part dry and part wet. also the low sun at about half 3 was a bummer.

i was also wearing my new leather trousers for the first time. didnt we have a thread on here regarding best e bay bargains ? . i cant find it ? . any way these trousers are hein gereicke brand new without labels ( does that mean nicked?) and i got them for 60 quid plus 12 for p/p. current equivalent on their website looks like about 240 quid!. they seem like nice quality.

Just the headlight to uprate again as the bulb blew and I'm back to using the OEM one.

Just connected up the cig lighter socket and Optimate 4 socket, painted and tidied the front fairing stay.
All ready to have the clutch conversion finished and put back together for now, pending a couple of days off for a complete engine out, strip and rebuild with new mains and big ends refreshed.
Oh, and some new head porting work, ideas stolen form the SP1 heads I bought and sold recently.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Put it back together after cleaning up the fork lowers & that terribly rusty front down pipe!

Shiny forks, rim tapes, black mudguard & new grips

Where do you ride trials? - I'm not good but have a Scorpa 250, tend to ride only at Earl Shilton and Clifton (near Ashbourne)
