hi guys
well alots happened in a day,and yes im in penzance...
ok its now confession time...ive been lured to the darkside and pretty paint work and just got hold of a .....tl1000s :eek2
i couldnt help it..it was very tidy, good price, and very close and a v-twin in the same vein as a vtr...forgive me farther for i have sinned!!!
does that mean i will now get booted off this forum? i hope not as its a good one, plus at some point i still want to get a vtr as to me there defiently the better of the two looks wise,i just needed a bike quickly in time for the snow, frost and rain :silent: :silent:
also my best mate is on a mission to get a vtr so once he gets one ill have the luxuary of being able to compare both side by side, without pressure, although i reckon there both me great bikes, just different, and if thats the case then i shall just aim for two bikes
you guys have all been great with your replies, views and help, its really agreat forum so i hope i can still be apart of it...even if i am a slight outcast
all the best

I always wanted a tls but the rear suspension put me off
However I still might get one in a few years and I won't be getting rid of the storm it's here to stay :)

i think the tl1000r in blue and white is one of my fav looking bikes, but i've seen older suzukis and they just haven't got the longevity of the honda, still beautiful tho

hi
and thanks and yes that is a gorgous bike, nice colour too, your proberly right also about the durability of the honda against the suzuki, then again alot of that can come down to the owner and the care/love shown...ive never owned a suzuki before, tell a lie i had a x5 for awhile...hated it   but im loving this, lets face it,any big-bore v-twin is going to be a blast whatever the make
ill have to post up some pics, when i work out and read how!!
ride safe dudes

I always liked the TLS, it was on my list but I found a good storm first. Having ridden both they are very different, and th TL is "sportier", but I still come back to the storm as I can ride it faster the way I have mine set up.

Oh and you are now an outcast here
