Glad you posted again Benny as I haven`t seen that before.......absolutely brilliant

Re: Super scooters - Experience?
Those made me laugh...I think I did something similar when I was 16
Fortunately that predates camera phones and YouTube...it nearly predates having any phone, even in your house!!!
The last one, I thought he had caught it when he span it round, but he caught another handful of throttle and off it flew

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

anyway... regarding the original post - they dont come much better than this.
2012 aprilia srv850

you can bet thats fair nippy, and with brembos, ohlins etc.
that's an 850cc 90* v twin fuel injected with a top speed quoted at 124mph and i bet it handles great too!
i bet theyre pricey though?

I've a honda scooter for buzzing in London, make pure sense.......its built in Italy. Some components, ie the Reg/Rec is Ducati! Anything less than 200cc is a pain on A roads. The Dylan will amble along at 60/65. Thrashing it it will just nudge 70 odd on a good day.MacV2 wrote:The fact that you know of Hondas reputation, build quality & reliability (cough CCT R/R Cough Cough) surly should discount the Gilera & Zook.( Italian electrics? Zook build quality I hear is not the best.)
The Gilera Fuoco 3 wheeled thing is a blast to ride. Rides like a bike, handles like a bike and is massive fun drifting the rear on wet roundabouts. The front end just won't break away. Looks pig ugly though!

There have been a couple of silverwings on eBay recently. For 1500 it's worth a punt really. I'll save some more for that lovely skirt option. They have them for the BMW GS too, don't you know.
No bike (yet).

Just watched those tube videos. Hilarious.
Regarding the drag race. That blackbird wasnt hanging around either. Jeez!!

I had a Burgman 400 for a while, after having a Gilera VXR200. Both 4 stroke. The burgman was big and cumbersome and I never felt at ease on it. The vxr was great for nipping around, light and fun, great for going to work and back on when I was in Cornwall. Maybe not so good for longer journeys though.
