i got in touch with sp engineering and without link pipes they offered me 2 stubby tri ovals for £300 which was a good deal i thought, because your buying two cans and if you use your standard link pipes they might offer you a discount.

I've had my stubbies nearly 2 years now - and they have done a few 150 mile commutes (in under 2 hours inc 2 fuel stops) - no signs of splitting. But then they don't (as mr Pinkyfloyd has already attested) have a lot of "restriction"...
