What is a Moriwaki?

I understand very little about this but you guys must be able to bring me up to speed.
Moriwaki produced a modified VTR in I think 3 stages?
The engine was the big mod but what else constituted the complete Moriwaki bike?
I've seen some titanium exhausts but what else?

MORIWAKI is a tuning firm in japan ,
some ( me being one ) regard there engine products as being the very best you can get
to modify your VTR with .
There are various stages of tune 1 2 or 3
according to roger at revolutionuk.co.uk you`ll now be hard pressed to find any of it
though he does have / at the moment ,a stage 1 engine up for grabs for about
£2,5oo ish / about 128 bhp .

as for parts ?
blimey ,cams ,pistons ,exhausts , valves , head work , sumps , swingarms / rare ! ,bodywork
flippin heck , loads of stuff , though now getting rarer than rockin horse poo !

So is it worth putting Rogers engine in a std Firestorm?
Given that you will not have the body work, rear swing arm, brakes, forks and exhaust. Plus other items I do not know about.
Or spend money on a SP1 or a SP2?

Seams to me that although the engine sounds fine you'd have to spend three times that much to make a std VTR a Moriwaki.....

it depends weither you want something very rare or not.
a mori firestorm is very rare and expensive, where as a sorted sp1 or 2 is i assume very similar in terms of performance to a stage 1 mori/storm and cheaper but no where near as exclusive, thats if you can find one or the parts to make one.
i'd find it hard to justify the expense of a mori/storm of any stage 1,2 or 3. but it doesn't stop me wanting or desiring one
you could get the best of both worlds and buy this....

someone should tell the poor chap selling it that the SP-1 was only offered in 2000 and 2001; 2002 and on was the SP-2.....
