IIRC 16-41 is standard

As to what the other offers try this http://www.gearingcommander.com/

Changing the sprockets to other than standard will have an effect on speedo accuracy.

Last time I got x-ring kit from M&P VTR1000F 97-05 Xtreme Ch/Sp kit

Wherever you get it from, make sure they include the rivet link!

Have been using a 15 tooth front with a 43 tooth rear JTR302-43 for the past two years. The standard length chain will fit. Top hole is now equivalent to 5th gear, or 130 mph at 9 k. Gearing is now suited to a hilly county with a minimum of good roads.
The horse for the coarse, if you don't need top speed, if throttle response and engine breaking are preferred. Please enjoy.
Remember to tell your insurance people of the changes, it will be fine.
Again tell the bean counters of changes from a "standard" set-up.

That's so horribly Big Brother.
Do I have to let my insurance know if I've cleaned it lately?
Fitted my own choice of tyres, instead of the brand the come with?
Changed brake pads?
Or whether I've used Super unleaded?

I know it's what they want you to do, but honestly...

If it doesn't affect the roadworthiness of the vehicle if the insurance claim they're trying to avoid paying out on is an accident-based one, or enhanced the value of the vehicle if it's a theft-based claim, it's none of their business.

Soon we'll all have to ask nicely if we can put a sticker on.

My insurance company would be getting daily updates, the rate I play with mine.

Rant of the day day- box ticked.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
