Can be a lot of cutting of the standard one if you do it badly like I did lol
Take your time with it as the seat lock is a pain to work around

I managed it! So no, not that hard to fit.
You will need to cut up the standard undertray a bit.
If I was you I would...start with taking off the seat & tail plastics. Then have a look at what needs to be cut off. The new under tray will use the existing fasteners that go in the bottom lugs of the tail plastics ( the silly little plastic screw things.) You now need to make a decision as to weather do it situ or take off the standard under tray.
You will see that you need to cut off the rear piece of the standard tray, but you need to keep the bit where the ECU fits, the upright back bit where the seat lock goes through ( take the seat lock off & see if it will fit the matching hole in the new undertray, chances are the hole will be to big which means you will need to use the existing tray, the new one fits over it)
The standard tray also has two bolts holding it on at the rear which you need to keep it all in place.
IMO it is easier to strip it right off. More work involved but it will be easier to cut. Basically...disconnect & remove battery, disconnect loom from R/R, flasher relay, ECU ect Two bolts from rear of subframe, tray snap fits over sub frame around about the rear foot pegs on both sides & push fits over the bar that runs underneath the battery box. Whip it off, cut it to suit & then re fit.
Don't forget that you need to put the rear reflector back on I believe that it is an MOT requirement!
It will make more sense when you see it all in the flesh.

Take your time, measure twice, cut once, and buy a stock of trim clips before you start- Halfords do ten for about £4.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
