tic, tic, tic well thats new cct's for me

Post by RAINMAKER »

Yeah got the dreaded tic............thought it was, but not quite sure, anyway it went in for service at 17,500 miles and the mechanic asked me to go into workshop and asked me if i could hear anything, he thought same as me......CCT, and said its quite common on VTR. (enlightened soul) So he put in two new ones on the basis that if one went the other might not be too far behind.

Got goodridge lines on too.

So might keep the bike for another year or so, ordered fender extender and hugger.

Anyone got any recommendations for fairing lowers?
Ps Iggy you got a new bike yet?
it may be clever, but its not big.

Come on now spill the beans, How much.?

Mines in tomorrow for a service (Maybe) and to have a rattle from the top front looked at..

it's not a regular tic but does sound like a chain slapping about so i'm expecting the CCT

Alegedly 1 1/2 hours per cct..

been going there for a while...........something are overpriced and I know its a bit of a rippoff, but they can be trusted.

for example just last week my Meta 357t alarm and immobiliser stopped bleeping............ie no alarm anymore, almost 3 years old, took it in and they talked to Meta got new unit and fitted it free of charge to me.

Got Meta to foot the bill.........now they could have been difficult but the bike shop gives that bit extra for regular customers........so dont mind paying a bit over the odds..........but if i lived near bluewater !!!
it may be clever, but its not big.
