Mr. Kreigers CCTs fitted and a pair of SP Engineering Big Bore pipes, done by my favourite mechanic who fitted the db killers as "I wanted my shop windows to stay intact".

Wont get to ride it now until Friday, will see what its like without them then.......

Let me know what the pipes sound like. Planning to save for a few months and get some if I don't have any luck getting a cheap pair of fleabay.

Which ones did you go for, I like the look of the carbon stubbies. Bet they are bloody loud. :biggrin

They are the round stainless xls, I wanted something that looked a bit different, and with those HUGE outlets they do, from behind you cant really see the end of the can!

Anyway cant wait for Friday when I get a chance to play however they sound pretty good with the db killlers in :biggrin

Well today i ran it until it got really hot to make sure the CCTs didn't squeal, IU was standing next to it ticking over with the odd blip, lovely!

Of course, I couldn't leave it with the db killers in, so out they came.........blat up the very quiet road we live in, Mrs came out and was grinning from ear to ear, my ears on the other hand are still ringing  pops and farts a bit on the overrun not terribly loud at low revs but given a handful WOOHOO.

Takes me back to the days the wife had enough time from hearing me riding down the local high street, on the old Kwaker, to get down to the garage and open the door from the first floor flat we had then.

So a good buy then? Do you think I should get some when I've got the spare cash?

Well I love them, but I have not had the chance to enjoy them for any distance so they may be too much. However they look as I wanted them to, they are pretty social with the killers in.

Only down side is they are bit expensive, could have had mtc ones for £70 less, just not what I wanted. Still got to love a company where you talk to the boss and he says "Right then I had better go off and make them!".

These are not mine, being carbon and on a yellow bike, but there are no pics on their site of them on a storm

Didn't do this today exactly.....just a little while ago! But a satisfying job none the less, Changed the brake and clutch fluids due to the nice shade of sh1t colour they were, and they are probably the original stuff put in at the factory 14 years ago? The clutch reservoir shows the before colour :eek2
