The Firestorm Giveth, and the Firestorm Taketh Away

Post by bluestoesonnose »

More good news;
Whilst prepping the bike for manual CCT's i found that she has iridium plugs fitted and the plugs for the timing mark pugs came out...

Bad news;
As part of the cleaning process I'm on a mission to undo ever bolt I can get too, cover the thread in coppa slip and put it back (I'll know it'll come apart next time), just had my first one snap in the frame...

...and you think "if I'd only just left that alone - it didn't need removing"

Been there, got the T shirt!
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

Yeah, been through all that, just wanna make sure that it'll either come apart if if should or stay together if it should.

The heartening thing is, it's so well looked after, i can't believe it for a bike of this age, I can't find one bodge
