Quick ride to Holmfirth and back

Post by Image »

Quick ride to Holmfirth and back along Woodhead Pass and the bendy A6024 up over Black Hill. Bit foggy over the tops.

I do envy those roads you have. Norfolk is nice but....nothing like Yorkshire (where I was born btw)
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

Yep, I use that chippy a lot. In fact I call that run the chippy run. They use real cod in their fish n chips and is a good focus to ride to and it's great sitting by the river to eat them. Great ride as well especially up that steep uphill and bendy road to the top where the aerial mast is. You can really feel the vee-twin kick in!
