Respol VTR

Post by StormingHonda »

Once I get the mechanical side of the the bike sorted out ( CCTS and Serviced ) i'm going to do what I always wanted to do on a Honda and thats to get a Repsol paint job done, does anyone have it done, how much did it cose. I've seen to verson of it, one looks great and the other cack.

Also has anyone got pics of the Castrol honda VTR I keep hearing about.

Pics please :D

Have a look at seb421

He has a Repsol one using Chinese fairings to good effect.

Hve a look at this thread >>>> http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 20#p189420

they both look good, out of the two, i would be more tempted by the castrol one, i think it would look better still with the full fairing lowers, making it look fully faired. with the castrol paint job, you could get the bike painted white and do the decals, and if you ever got bored of that look you could just take them off, and your'd be left with a white storm, which in my opinion looks very nice indeed, white is the new black after all
having said that sebs bike looks very nice...........mmmmmmmmmm

The old Castrol colours used to be green all over the bike with white font if I remember correctly.
