Stupid b8stard

Post by seb421 »

Well pissed off with my self, moving the bike out the garage forgot the disc lock was on as i couldnt see it as i camr through the main garage door way and approached from the rear of the bike, was going to adjust the chain as it was a little slack

wheeled it back... CRUNCH!!!!

wombles sh1t!!!

big piece missing in the brand new fender where the disc lock had struck it,

glued it back together looks shite,

only positive to come from this is that i may replace it with a carbon fibre one now, don't know if it will look sh1t tho or not.

may just get another black one from china sure they would put the graphics on again if i asked.

more money I didn't want to spend, good job I didn't put my bid on those exhausts, was going to adjust the chain then come back to ebay thank full it wasn't the other way round.

Its my own fault I know,

strange I've never done it before and I've now done it twice in as many months

Lesson learned don't rush and always make sure the yellow cord is visible

Had to ring work tell them I wasn't coming in as i was so pissed off,

lot of aggression and testosterone flying around as its male only and they work you hard as sh1t its basically a physical an 8 hour man's job in 5 hours with no breaks

would probably loose it very easy tonight so not going to risk it, only one absence in last few years so wombles em

The day I see my mate pull away on his XJ6 and go flying over the handle bars was the day I threw away the disc locks.

Bloody things.

Thanks mate, like the look just dont know if it will go with the front with the rest being black, they usualy look great if they are the darkest item such as with a red or blue bike.

I think it will look OK with a carbon guard mate. You can add the decals to tie it into the colour scheme. What about plastic welding and patching the damaged one, is that an option to save cash?

Wicky did you adjust the size of the pic I posted for Seb in the larger format or have I done something?
I think it looks good with the carbon guard Seb, thanks for the mock up Wicky.
