New style gauges on a 99 vtr

Post by Yikez »

Has anyone ever tried to retrofit a newer style gauge assembly on the older vtrs? I have a 99 and like the digital look of the new ones. Just curious if anyone has experience.

Thanx

One of the commonest criticisms of the current Storm is the illegibility of the speedo. You sure you want to change?

Don't listen to simon t, I think it's a great idea. In fact, I'll swap my later model clocks for your older ones, you can pay the postage :)

Seriously, the later speedo is wombles awful, useful speed readings in about 60º, at the bottom of the speedo. In Gatso infected GB it's a major PITA :(

Agreed don't do it! Had two Storms with the old speedo and now got an F3 with the revised dash - speedo very difficult to read.
