ive gone through my boot, knee slider, hero blob, a bit of elbow leathers and a bit of a can on my old storm. that was on maxxis supermax.

feels good down there but i wouldnt recommend it without some kind of crash protection on the engine case

Can you Get your knee down

On the track it's easy, on the road requires a bigger pair. This was at rockingham

Not knee down, but going round the outside. Shame it's a black visor. Caption fun?

On a more serious note though. I have not had my knee down and to be honest I am not to bothered about it. On the UK roads theres not really any need to ride like a racer, I am not a racer and I ride within my capabilities.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

done it once leaving m6 at pem. back end slipped on white lines (wet roads) poooooo time.
try going up skem kidda some lads from work learned up there full of different size roundabouts.
they got a spot they call skem bends its got a left . right .left. roundabout then right left right perfect for learnig on. they told me you can do it at 20mph or 60mph al see if they fancy showing you the ropes this weekend if you like. must warn you though they are mad. i cant keep up with 1 of them on his DL650 v.strom front and rear pegs worn on that bike. they swop bikes about but damage it and youve bought a crashed bike lol.
