New Original Exhausts, what are they worth?

Hi, I bought my storm from Lings of Lowerstoft a couple of weeks ago, it was advertised with Fuel cans but it was delivered with brand new honda units, to cut the story short, the aftermarket cans are on there way to me but I wondered if the originals are worth putting in the sales/wants, If there not worth much I will just hang on to them as spares, I am tempted to cut them down into stubbies (heard some on youtube and even on my pc they sounded awsome) i know they rob some power but its not like i am going to be racing the bike, I prefer to here deep tones, bit of a bass freak Its just a shame i would prob wreck them tho....

Yeah but Im not expecting the Fuels to be that loud as there road cans I think, i supose i may pick up some race cans second hand and I could get more for the Fuel Jobbies. Did I read somewhere you have very loud pipes on yours?

I had Micron ali 'race' cans marked NFRU - bit of a rigmarole every MOT having to swap em round for standard exhausts and back again. Collected some similar Micron road versions that I used occasionally and then recently put on some Moriwaki Ti Zeros that give a nice rumble (probably a tad naughty but no discernible markings indicating that they're NFRU.

Not sure of the demand for new standard exhausts (as they weigh a ton) but if someone was wanting a concours VTR...

they tend to sell for next to nothing i'm afraid, they cost in the region of £20+ to post, because they weigh a ton, if they are mint you might get £30/40 for them but it theyre average your looking at £20 plus postage, i gave mine away on here to a fella that had crashed his bike, i should have really kept them because its mot time and i don't know if my exhausts will pass

Cheers guys, i supose there only worth what people are willing to pay, I would imagine they are quite expensive to buy. Chric, it doesnt look like they are worth me selling them, worth more as a spare set i guess, they are new out of the box condition, Somone in the service dept. at Lings made the decision to take the Fuel's off because he thought they were too loud! Didnt cost me anything but I will have to sort out putting the others on and I bet they have thrown away the brackets.
