As with all things in life, there is good carbon and bad carbon! Both in the looks / quality side, and also what it is there for.......you can have too much, and some stuff actually looks like stickers, so that ends up backfiring and looking tacky.

I have engine case protectors and rearset heal plates in carbon, but would like to add front mud guard, hugger and Moriwaki style bellypan also in carbon. And I do covet those MarioNova fairings and seat units

mario navas fairings are as trick as it gets with firestorms/carbon fibre
i was sorely tempted by stormsmashers mario seat unit and under seat exhaust set up he was selling a couple of months ago, if it wasn't for me already having a nice exhaust and the spare cash i would have snapped it up.....
heres a bike with full mario navas fairings

i have searches set up to alert me for things I'm on the look out for, ebay send out emails every day if something matches what i want, set you self one up
Thanks Seb, yeh I got searches set up to email as well. It's frustrating when things don't apear that your looking for because they are rare.

Lovin those pics BSM, that is true bike porn. Can I get some high res ones? It's got to be one of the best VTR's I have seen (given me some insperation) saying that though, I have yet to see YETI's bike/bikes. The king of Bling.

and that was only on the 2nd April, not as rare as I thought then. Don't know how I missed them!

I wonder if that art is the same company that make the exhausts. Very interesting.

Chric, the carbon fibre frame protectors arrived today and will be fitted later. Thanks very much for a simple, straightforward and very honest deal mate. I know we don't do feedback on here but I would highly recommend Chric should anyone need to buy anything in the future.
Now a question for anyone who has fitted the frame protectors previously, what is the suggested means of securing them? Silicone adhesive, sticky pads? Any pointers gratefully received (and a few ridiculous ones expected!).

i ones i bought had been previously stuck on via sticky pads, i assume it would make it easier to take off again if needed, i doubt they could be removed if you used adhesive, not without breaking them :(
its an interesting question tho because i've lots of carbon goodies going on soon, so it will be interesting to get peoples opinions, the engine covers will be put on with heat proof adhesive tho....
