Come on lloydi, you must have some joke'y remark there.)
i could but i wont as you have done a very good turn and helped bsm out
but one thing stood out where was no mention of a car park :!:
no car parks for carl, he made it into my man garden
because i don't have a man cave in the uk :(

again a massive thankyou carl, breakfast is on me on saturday mate, or at least a couple of extra strong coffees

i've still got a big problem tho. i might not be able to road tax it for friday. it turns out the log book is around my mechanics house and he's on holiday for another 2 weeks, the gov website says i need at least a reminder or the code on the log book.....grrrrrrrrr
i might try ringing them up but i doubt they can do anything, i'm desparately trying to get intouch with my mechanic but he's out in the villages in turkey.
it never rains it pours.
i'd like to say thanks to everyone whose rooting for me, trust me it means alot.
when the bikes finished i want to post thankyou's to everyone thats helped me, i know i will forget someone tho because so many of you have contributed to this bike.
the bike will be known as the forums bike, but don't think your all going to ride it

Took the cam chain tensioners off (one at a time obviously !?),then converted to manual types.

Stripped them, drilled and tapped out to 8mm. Used long stainless bolts and opened out original alloy crush washer to 8mm. Stainless dome nut loctited on the outer end too.

Quite pleased that i got the cam timing right without taking the cam covers off.

Couldn't for the life of me get the crank bolt cover off without rounding it off so put it in 6th and wound her over with the rear wheel.

I'll sleep easy now

Don't have a spare sprocket cover myself - but Tony might have one. How does the clutch slave currently mount without a sprocket cover? and it might be worth researching into cutting magnesium Image :eek2
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

finally - got the sprockets, chain, cush rubbers etc sorted and back on the road now. Just need to bleed the clutch and I'm out and about tomorrow.

Depending on where the missus is, might do a fly-by to the workshop day and say "hello" to a few of you.
