saturday was great fun, but it really took it out of me, i fell asleep at 9pm and woke up this morning with a few aches and pains, which have dissapeared as the days progessed, the more i ride the easier it will get i'm sure.
i still got a dirty big smile on my face tho, i have missed being on two wheels. and i have to say sorry to yeti and the rest of the lads for being behind me and my noisey exhausts. it wasn't until our little rideout when i was behind mac and his harris cans going thru a small village that i realised how loud these exhausts really are, next time i'll bring earplugs for everyone.....

Me too a few aches and pains, it was the cold air going down the back of my neck giving me neck ache, and also few old injuries playing up. Wish I put my jacket liner in now!. And I also crashed out early. ZZZZZzzzzzZZZZZzzzzzz

All worth it though.

I prefer a stonger NSAIDs (Non Steroidal Anti inflammatory Drugs) either a 50mg/75mg Diclofenac more commonly known as Voltarol. This relaxes things which in course eases the pain. And for the "I'm in Pain give something to instantly take the pain away" :eek2 :Finger: "wombles off it's hurting you Hippo" I have a 50mg Tramadol.

That combination usually works along with bed rest for me.

And if it's really bad and you want to get off your face a bit, mix it with  That's a knockout

Having looked at the pic's I can see that you already have a higher screen, which is normally the first fix for helmet buffeting. (No, Marty stop sniggering your thinking helmet buffing !0 )

When you turned up at Brook street I seem to remember that you had your lid with the chin piece flipped up. ??

If you ride with it like that all the time that's going to cause all sorts of drag problems & will make the helmet & therefore your head move about, hence the neck ache.

I recently bought a KBC helmet after years of Arai's. The KBC is so much quieter than the Arai simply because the Arai's visor pods stick out the side & create wind noise at speed. However I found that at speed the KBC wobbles about in the wind blast making vision blurry !
Got one of those neoprene wind cheater things & it has cured me wobbles & made it even quieter.

Mac
I usually use the A13 which has a better road surface than the A12, and plus I bought that helmet with the Harley in mind, its also too big, I suspect the linings worn a bit on it and lost its strength.

I have another helmet which is a lot tighter, so I rekon I'll get away with that one :)

I thought I had giving it away but I found it in the garage when I got him

between me and you the noise of our bikes make is mental.......
i thought of one of those wind cheater things last night, where did you get yours from mac, i also have a kbc, but i find mine suffers from a lot of wind/road noise, i reckon it will be earplugs/wind cheater thingy/and flip up screen in the future. i must admit my lid's only a £100 cheapy, so maybe i should consider a new lid first....

Marty.........

Thumbs up from me on this product, but.......it will make getting your helmet on & off a touch more difficult....price worth paying in my opinion.

You should consider a new lid as first point. Is your head only worth £100 then?

I tried one of these neoprene wind jammers on my Shoie, it works well, but it was bloody painful getting the helmet off!

Having a good lid that is the right size and you are comfortable with is important!!!!!

With neck warmers, Iv'e got one similer to this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycle-Fu ... 41642512e2 Works a treat on those minus whatever winter mornings. I like the extra chest/back protection it gives me.

If only we could predict the weather lol, I should have brought that with me Doh!

Have Fun
